job description for the Speech & Language Therapist (SLT) - Community Neuro in Preston
Looking for an exhilarating new role? We have a fantastic ongoing opportunity for a Speech & Language Therapist (SLT) specialised in Community Neuro, with expertise in dysphagia, stroke, and acquired brain injury (ABI). This role is based in vibrant Preston, UK, offering a generous £30 hourly rate. If you have at least two years of experience, are HCPC registered, and are available for a full-time position, this could be your perfect fit. While community experience is desirable, it is not essential, making this a flexible opportunity for the right candidate.

What you will do:
* Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for adults facing speech, language, and swallowing difficulties related to neurological conditions.
* Develop tailored therapy plans to facilitate rehabilitation and improve patient outcomes.
* Educate and collaborate with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure comprehensive care and support.
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care and share expertise.
Requirements :
* Degree in Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC registration.
* Experience in working with individuals with neurological conditions (e.g., stroke, brain injury, neurodegenerative diseases)
* community experience desirable but not essential.
