Job Description
An opportunity within the Fixed Asset team has arisen, at Cygnet Nepicar House, Sevenoaks, Kent. This position involves general duties of purchase ledger administrator focusing on processing of invoices, updating of the relevant trackers or system and uploading & managing approval requests on the company authorisation portal.
Cygnet was established in 1988. Since then we have developed a wide range of health and social care services for young people and adults with mental health needs, acquired brain injuries, eating disorders, autism and learning disabilities within the UK.
Duties include:
- Accurate processing of invoices on accounting system (Sage X3) and reconciliation of supplier statements.
- Matching invoices to purchase orders and seeking approval as necessary.
- Updating of relevant trackers and facility management system once invoices are processed.
- Raising of BACS payments when required.
- Checking of invoices included within payment runs.
- Ensure that the company process is being adhered to and be a day to day contact for any queries.
- Uploading approval requests onto company authorisation portal and track progress of requests.
- Assist the Senior Fixed Asset Accountant in any ad-hoc duties.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as being able to manage own workload.
- Self-disciplined and efficient, with a flexible and proactive nature.
- Ability to quickly adapt to change and work well under pressure.
- A good working knowledge of MS Excel is essential.
