We are seeking an experienced Band 6 Clinical Lead Speech and Language Therapist to join a specialist post-acute stroke rehabilitation unit in Abingdon. Key Responsibilities

* Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy to stroke patients within a specialist post-acute rehabilitation unit.

* Provide expert support and education to patients and their families, helping them navigate communication and swallowing difficulties.

* Lead daily operations to ensure the effective delivery of speech and language therapy services.

* Facilitate safe discharge planning , supporting patients as they transition into community-based care.

* Contribute to clinical projects and service development , driving innovation in stroke rehabilitation.

Essential Requirements

* HCPC Registration (Health and Care Professions Council).

* Qualified Speech and Language Therapist , with experience in stroke rehabilitation.

* Valid UK driving licence (desirable but not essential) .

* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage daily service delivery effectively.
