What you will do:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify sensory, motor, and functional difficulties in children with SEN, and develop personalised therapy plans.
* Provide engaging one-on-one and group therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques to enhance fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
* Collaborate actively with parents, carers, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to integrate therapy into daily routines and educational settings.
* Maintain accurate records and prepare insightful reports for EHCPs (Education, Health, and Care Plans), contributing effectively to multidisciplinary meetings.
* Offer training to school staff and parents on innovative strategies to support children's occupational therapy needs.
* Ensure all interventions are in line with safeguarding policies and professional regulations, preserving a safe environment for all.
Requirements:
* An HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist with a passion for paediatrics.
* Deep knowledge of sensory integration, fine and gross motor skill development, and assistive technology.
* Experience working within schools, clinics, or community settings with SEN children.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with an ability to liaise effectively with families and professionals.
* Familiarity with EHCP processes and experience contributing to multi-agency planning.
