Due to the increase of treatments and care we give to patients; our professional and established administration department is expanding and therefore we have a new opportunity for an experienced and detailed Healthcare Administrator to join the team.

If you have answered YES to the above, we have the opportunity for you to join our team based at our Gillingham Surgical Centre and become a member of our welcoming team.
Hours for the role is 37.5 hours a week and will be a variation of 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm or 10am-6pm and one Saturday in 4
What you'll be doing
You will be a vital member of the team, delivering an efficient administrative service for our Ilford Hospital but based in our Gillingham hospital.
Accurately prepare patient records for Outpatient clinic, Wards and Review clinics within set deadlines and timescales
Ensure that relevant information, investigation results and x-rays are always available prior to patients attendance and are prepared in accordance to standards set
Liaise with all staff and patients in relation to the availability of medical records with confidence, professionalism and diplomacy
To develop and maintain effective working relationships with all staff
Managing and maintaining tracking of case notes
Undertake investigation of missing case notes and arrange retrieval (e.g. notes and x-rays from other hospitals), notifying appropriate manager when necessary
What we'll look for in you
You will have recent and relevant experience, who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work under pressure.
Just as important though is your flexibility, belief in teamwork and your ability to use your initiative, follow instructions and prioritise a busy workload
