We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (Band 6) to join our Adult Social Care team in Beeston, Nottingham. This locum role offers a competitive hourly rate of £41.28 , with the flexibility of part-time hours if desired. Key Responsibilities

Complete moving and handling assessments within the community, ensuring safe and effective practices.

Work within the Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) process , coordinating necessary home adaptations.

Conduct comprehensive assessments to support individuals in maintaining independence and improving their quality of life.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams , carers, and service users to develop personalised care plans.

Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and professionals to ensure a person-centred approach.

Exhibit flexibility in work approaches, actively contributing to team initiatives and service improvements.

Essential Requirements

HCPC registration (Health & Care Professions Council) is mandatory.

Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist within Adult Social Care .

Strong understanding of legislation, policies, and best practices in Occupational Therapy.

Excellent communication and assessment skills , with the ability to work independently and within a team.

Driving license preferred , as the role involves working across multiple sites.
