What You Will Do:
* Manage Referrals: Review and manage incoming referrals efficiently, ensuring prompt and appropriate allocation of cases to Occupational Therapy resources.
* Conduct Assessments: Provide expert Occupational Therapy assessments for straightforward cases, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
* Case Allocation: Ensure appropriate distribution of cases to the relevant professionals, maintaining service efficiency.
* Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers, healthcare providers, and other professionals to deliver holistic care.
* Home Visits: Conduct home visits as necessary to assess clients' living environments and provide tailored recommendations.
* Service Quality: Prioritize and manage a high volume of referrals while upholding the highest quality standards of care and service delivery.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Essential: Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
* Experience: Prior experience in Occupational Therapy within a social care setting is highly desirable.
* Skills: Strong assessment, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to manage a high workload effectively.
* Knowledge: Understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in social care.
