Job Description
Specialist Radiographer | Imaging | Radiology | Competitive Salary, dependent on experience | Private Hospital | Permanent | Part Time - 30 Hours Per Week | Solihull
Spire Parkway Hospital have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Radiographer to join our imaging team on a permanent, part time basis, This role is 30 hours per week.
Spire Parkway Hospital in Solihull, West Midlands offers a comprehensive range of private hospital services. Our hospital is rated Good by the CQC for all parts of the inspection except for Patient Care, which is rated Outstanding. The report states, "Staff treated patients with compassion and kindness, respected their privacy and dignity, took account of their individual needs, and helped them understand their conditions. They provided emotional support to patients, families and carers."
Our dedicated hospital team are passionate about excellent patient care and we offer a range of specialist treatments to patients across Birmingham, Warwickshire and the West Midlands. This includes diagnostic services, rehabilitation, cutting-edge surgical procedures and excellence in specialist fields like orthopaedics, women's health and cancer care. We have 51 bedrooms and five operating theatres.
Duties and responsibilities:
- To provide highly skilled imaging for patients within the department.
- To ensure the team delivers effective imaging by providing appropriate clinical leadership, managerial leadership and educational and development expertise.
- The Hospital covers a wide variety of surgical procedures including Cardiac, Spinal and Orthopaedics. You will support in assessing patient's health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload, assisting in the delivery of care to meet the patient's needs.
- You will actively promote best practice and contribute towards quality improvements, collect collate and organise data, interpret all of the information and make a justifiable assessment, making this available to relevant others. In-house training and development available.
Who we're looking for:
- You will hold a Diploma or Degree in Radiography and be registered with the HCPC - your registration should not have any restrictions or conditions
- Previous experience within private healthcare is desirable but not essential.
- Must have experience in CT.
- Compassionate and able to showcase excellent patient care
- You will need to possess strong communication skills and have a good standard of IT.
