Occupational Therapist - Adult Social Care

Location: City of London

Contract Type: Full-time (3-5 days per week)

Pay Rate: £33.41 per hour

What you will do:

- Deliver high-quality occupational therapy interventions, including assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.

- Focus on major adaptations to improve accessibility in clients' homes and environments.

- Provide reablement services aimed at restoring independence and functional ability.

- Manage a varied caseload with low case numbers but diverse responsibilities, including involvement in project work.

- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients.

- Conduct risk assessments and recommend appropriate assistive technologies or environmental modifications.

- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with professional standards and organisational policies.

Work Environment:

This role requires at least 60% of your working days to be office-based to foster collaboration and innovation. You will also travel within the City of London, necessitating a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

- A recognised degree in Occupational Therapy.

- Registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).

- A minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in adult social care settings.

Skills & Knowledge:

- Expertise in major adaptations and reablement services.

- Strong clinical decision-making skills and the ability to manage complex cases independently.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, families, and professionals.

Other Requirements:

- Must be a car driver with access to a vehicle for work purposes.
