Spire Bristol Hospital are looking for an experienced Inpatient Orthopaedic Physiotherapist to join the Physio team on a full-time permanent basis. You will provide highly skilled and specialised assessment, diagnosis and treatment for patients within the in-patient/out-patient service.
Job Purpose
To provide skilled and assessment, diagnosis and treatment for patients within the in-patient service across a 5 day working rota, with varying shift patterns, plus weekend working.
Take lead role in physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patient caseload.
Duties and responsibilities

2. Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information.
3. Develop knowledge and practice in own area of work.
4. Develops a working environment and culture that actively improves health, safety and security.
5. Develop and improve services.
6. Improve quality.
7. Enable people to exercise their rights and promote their equality and diversity.
8. Lead others in the development of knowledge, ideas and work practices.
9. Apply technology formeasurement, monitoring and treatment of patients.
10. Acknowledge the risk of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI) and understand own responsibility as agreed with line manager in the prevention and control of HCAI.
Who we're looking for
- Degree (BSc Hons Physiotherapy)
- Evidence of post-graduate learning.
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council
- Experience of applying clinical reasoning skills to a range of complex and varied caseloads
- Trained on MS Office and other relevant packages
- Demonstrate principles of accountable practice
- English language to IELTS 7.0
- Willing to work flexible patterns e.g. evenings/weekends
- Registration with the Health Care Professions Council
- Willing to participate in flexible working pattern
- Empathy for vulnerable and sick patients
Working Hours: Full-time, 37.5hrs per week, working across a 7 day service. Working shifts between the hours of 8am-8pm.
