Medical Secretary

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Medical Secretary to join an established Health Centre in Co. Wexford to cover a maternity leave.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide thorough secretarial and administrative assistance to the medical team.

* Organise patient appointments, ensuring efficient scheduling, rescheduling, and managing cancellations.

* Keep patient records updated, always ensuring strict confidentiality.

* Support the coordination of patient referrals and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.

* Manage phone calls, emails, and patient queries in a professional and timely manner.

Requirements

* Experience in a medical surgery setting is desirable.

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, staff, and visitors.

* Proficiency in Socrates is desirable.

* Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
