The Opportunity:

We invite an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team, offering the chance to build and manage a private practice offering outpatient services at our site. This role is integral to maintaining our high standards of care and providing expert guidance to our dedicated staff.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Assess and treat a diverse outpatient population.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists and psychologists.
  • Engage in quality improvement and governance activities.
  • Expand your practice in alignment with Priory Wellbeing Manchester's prestigious reputation.
  • Network with professional colleagues and referral sources.
  • Market yourself and your practice in conjunction with Priory, registering with private medical insurers and providing information for our website.
  • Maintain professional development and meet Revalidation requirements.

Candidate Profile:
  • GMC registration with relevant specialist registration.
  • Experience in psychiatry including at least 2 years operating within in a substantive role with the NHS.
