Job Description
Clinical Rehabilitation Physiotherapist
Location: London, The Wellington Hospital plus travel when required
Full time: 37.5 hours per week
Shift times: Monday-Friday, 9-5.30pm
Fixed Term Contract Until September 2025

We're looking for an Advanced Physiotherapist to join our team at The Wellington Hospital, currently rated "Good" by the CQC.
The Wellington Hospital has over four decades of expertise; providing the highest level of care for patients who are looking for the best treatment in key areas of healthcare, including: neurosurgery, spinal surgery, cardiac care, orthopaedics, acute neurological rehabilitation, gynaecology and cancer care.
The Neuro-Rehabilitation service offers comprehensive interdisciplinary rehabilitation programs for both inpatients and out-patients. At present the Inpatients Rehab Unit can accommodate 45 patients with an average stay between three weeks and six months.
About the role
This purpose of this role is to clinically assess patients and apply for funding so that they can be admitted and supported within the rehabilitation unit. It requires a lot of relationship building with the multi disciplinary teams to make the recommendations for the treatment that is needed.
Although predominantly based at The Wellington Hospital, travel is required to make assessments of potential patients and also to visit other HCA Hospitals.

What you'll bring:
- HCPC Registration
- Physiotherapy or Occupational Health degree qualification or equivalent
- Extensive clinical experience in Neuro Rehabilitation.
- Extensive experience of assessing patients for admission
- Experience of report writing and making funding applications
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
