Job Title : Band 6 Occupational Therapist - Community Learning Disabilities (LD) Location : Guernsey Salary : Up to £45 per hour Contract Type : Ongoing, Full-Time

Join our dynamic Community Learning Disabilities and Autism Team in Guernsey as a Band 6 Occupational Therapist. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities and autism. Key Responsibilities:

Multidisciplinary Team Collaboration : Work as part of the Adult Community Learning Disability and Autism Team, contributing to the holistic care of clients.

Client-Centred Interventions : Manage a defined caseload using evidence-based principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions tailored to individual needs.

Coordinated Therapy Services : Deliver an effective and efficient Occupational Therapy service to the Bailiwick of Guernsey, maintaining high standards of care.

Clinical Record Maintenance : Ensure accurate clinical records are kept, participating in service development and evaluation within the Adult Community Services Directorate.

Autonomous Practice : Work independently to manage a client group, delivering specific Occupational Therapy treatment programmes.

Goal Setting and Collaboration : Collaborate with service users, their carers, and the multidisciplinary team to set realistic goals and determine outcomes.

Supervision and Professional Development : Participate in regular supervision and appraisals, using reflection to inform practice and identify training needs.

Continuous Learning : Maintain and expand professional knowledge through ongoing learning and engage in clinical audits when required.

Requirements:
