Job Description

Sanctuary Personnel, a dedicated and award-winning recruitment agency with a TrustPilot score of 4.9/5 and nearly 1000 reviews is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Occupational Health Occupational Therapist to take on a new locum role.

Location: Loughborough

Contract Type: Locum full-time ongoing contract

Pay Rate: £30.05 per hour (assignment rate)

Main duties:

* Provide Occupational Therapist (OT) assessment, workplace advice and support to Service Personnel (SP).

* Work autonomously, without routine direct supervision and be accountable for own professional actions.

* Assess, plan, and implement OT interventions.

* Support vocational rehabilitation of SP, with clinical supervision provided a Senior OT and monitoring the service against national guidelines and standards.

* Plan and co-ordinate relevant multidisciplinary patient care activities.

* Implement policies and procedures for the Defence Primary Healthcare (DPHC) Occupational Therapy service to ensure quality of service provision and evidence-based practice. This includes implementation of relevant National standards and guidelines.

* Support clinical research, participate in clinical evaluation and audit for the Occupational Therapy service.

* Provide specialist clinical advice and teaching on vocational rehabilitation to other members of the DPHC Regional Occupational Health Team (ROHT) multidisciplinary team, and external agencies/ organisations as requested.

Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:

* Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy

* Recent UK experience working as an Occupational Therapist
