Job Title: Band 7/8a Aseptic Pharmacist

Location: Royal Derby Hospital, Derby, UK

Salary: £30-36 per hour

Contract: Ongoing, Full Time, Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:30 with a one-hour lunch break

Exciting Opportunity for an Aseptic Pharmacist in Derby! We are seeking an enthusiastic Aseptic Pharmacist to join our dynamic team at the Royal Derby Hospital. In this role, you will bring your expertise to ensure the safe and effective supply of aseptic products, as well as contribute to the high standards of pharmaceutical care we are known for. What you will do:

* Provide expert aseptic services and finalise the release of aseptically prepared products, ensuring all standards are met under Section 10 responsibilities.

* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver pharmaceutical care tailored to patient needs.

* Manage the dispensing and supply of medication, maintaining high levels of accuracy and safety.

* Supervise and support junior staff and pharmacy technicians within the aseptic unit.

* Contribute to the development and implementation of efficient workflows and systems in the aseptic environment.

Requirements:

* GPHC registered

* Experience in an aseptic pharmacy setting is desirable
