Are you an organised and detail-oriented individual looking for a dynamic administrative role in healthcare?
We are seeking an Administrator to join our busy Practice Plus Group team, supporting both NHS and private patients with a range of diagnostic imaging procedures. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working as part of a collaborative team, and is passionate about delivering excellent patient care
This is a part-time position, working 16 hours a week. You MUST be able to work Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
What you'll be doing
As our Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our clinical administration process. Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing patient referrals and ensuring accurate clinical and demographic information is captured.
- Managing completed diagnostic reports, forwarding them to referring clinicians and patients.
- Handling patient and customer queries, directing them to the appropriate team members.
- Supporting the appointment scheduling process and assisting with data entry.
- Covering reception duties when required, ensuring a friendly and professional welcome for patients.
- Ensuring confidentiality and professionalism when handling patient data.
- Participating in team discussions, training, and development, contributing to a positive and efficient working environment.
What we'll look for in you
We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused Administrator who has:
- Strong administrative skills, with experience in data entry and keyboarding
- Previous experience in customer service or a telephone-based role
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently under pressure
- A friendly and professional attitude, ensuring high-quality service for patients
- Flexibility and a willingness to learn new skills.
- Desirable but not essential: Experience working in a healthcare setting or familiarity with medical terminology.
