Pharmacist

Our client is looking for a GPhC registered Pharmacist to join their team in Plymouth (PL6) on a permanent part-time basis, working 2 or 3 consecutive days per week.

This is a very busy store, dispensing approximately 23,000 items per month while offering a range of services such as DMS, flu vaccinations, and more. So, if you’re seeking an energetic, fast-paced role within a thriving and well-staffed branch, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Up to £30 per hour DOE, plus GPhC fees reimbursed, pension scheme, as well as free parking available.

Role Responsibilities for the Pharmacist:

Dispensing prescription medicine to the public in accordance with the regulations and contractual obligations.

Preparing medications by reviewing and interpreting orders, detecting therapeutic incompatibles, and prescribing errors.

Dispensing medications by compounding, packaging, labelling medicines.

Controlling medications by monitoring drug therapies, advising interventions.

Completing pharmacy operational requirements by organising and directing Technicians workflow, verifying their preparation, and labelling of medicines verifying order entries, charges, and inspections.

Providing pharmacological information by answering questions and requests of healthcare professionals, counselling patients on drug therapies.
